A week ago, I asked myself and everyone else, ‘Why do you do what you are doing?” As, not in the moment, but in life itself. I shared I am blessed to be doing what I want to do. However, there are parts, a large part of ministry that is not necessarily what we enjoy doing, like every job in the world.
But talking to the Holy Spirit after writing the last message, (I talk to Him a lot, and hope you do too.) that many people are not doing what they want to do in life, so what’s with that and what do we do about it.
The ‘motivational’ answer would be to set a goal for what you want, write it down, picture it and pray about it. Good idea…..but what do you do in the meantime?
Recently I was called on to do some things for friends and I started getting tired, then received some gentle criticism about something, and I started to be a little offended, and very tired. Then I remembered that I serve God because I want to, not because I have to and I am doing this for Jesus not for my friends.
That does not in any way discount my love or desire to help and bless my friends or strangers for that matter. That attitude of doing what ever I do for Jesus, puts me on the right team and in my case as I changed my attitude about the ‘challange’ before me the Holy Spirit immediately blessed me with peace and more energy.
We are told in the Bible to pray for those in charge, and of course forgive those things that offend or hurt, commit out way to Jesus and thank God for our job, whatever it may be, will definitely see us through when we must do that we do not want to do. Doing it not with grimace, but with a grin. Grin for Jesus…..wow, we could make a bumper sticker out of that!
Bottom line, we can enjoy the Holy Spirit in our lives…..our Heavenly Father loves us so much…..staying on the right team with our thoughts and attitudes is the key and brings beau-coup blessings!

I just received word that a precious woman of God, Jill Austin, has left us to be with Her Lord. I cannot imagine anyone loving Jesus more than Jill Austin. Jill started a ministry called Master Potteras she actually had taken a course in college on pottery and her ministry started out of an exhibit she did at a fair.
Jill has traveled extensively for over 25 years as a national and international conference speaker, ministering the Gospel with signs and wonders following. She has a powerful prophetic anointing and releases the fire of the Holy Spirit, bringing fresh passion and hunger for Jesus Christ!
We met years ago through mutual friends when she spoke at home groups in San Diego. I can remember so many stories of how this single woman would travel where ever she was asked to go, to teach preach and heal in the Name of Jesus, regardless of distance, or weather conditions! Many times it was her faith that got her there, especially in those early years.
As part of her legacy to us, and it is a big one, I want to share my favorite story from Jill’s ministry. Jill was asked to minister in a foreign country. One of the Preachers who hear about her invited her to his church. As she began to speak she notice 4 or 5 men in the back, criticizing and grumbling about a woman preaching. They were not very quiet and she was well aware of their sentiments as they were vocal. It turned out that they were Elders in the church.
The Holy Spirit spoke to Jill and told her to invite them to the platform, and she did. Then the Holy Spirit told her not to touch them or speak, just to watch. Each man was picked up, one after another, thrown on the back drop and fell to the floor. The Holy Spirit said for Jill to ask them if they had any thing they would like share. Humbly each crawled up and off the platform and took seats in the front. Jill continued to minister, and many were converted and many healed following the message she gave.
All things are possible with God. I am sure that was a turning point for those men and that church. If we have any doubt of the story we would have to tear the story of Paul being thrown to the earth (Acts 9:3) and led blind into the city, out of our Bibles. We have been told the Holy Spirit is always a gentleman….well, perhaps we shouldn’t say ‘always’ too often. And we should never doubt the power of God in any situation. The Holy Spirit has many Angels at His disposal at any time, such as Gabriel who closed the mouth of Zacharias until John the Baptist was born (Luke 1;19,20).
We assume Paul was on a donkey, and those men were certainly on their ‘high horse’; just a short fall to the ground. This jewel (story) has many facets gleaming to our understanding how our Heavenly Father can change the affairs of men through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and the Heavenly Host. There are many more stories that will bless those who know them and share them about the exploits of this Deborah like General in the army of God, Jill Austin!
We can thank God for Jill Austin, and pray many will be the miracles, signs and wonders in the months and years to come because of the legacy she left for so many! Bye, for now, Jill…..we’ll see you later!

This solution may seem naive, but not to those of us who see miracles through prayer and understanding the spirit realm is far greater than the physical. I was reading some of the book of Isaiah this morning and found this scripture:
“The Lord has made bare His Holy Arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.” 52:10 It says all nations…..’His Holy Arm’ is Jesus….the ends of all the earth include….whoa…..all the earth! So salvation is for all the earth….duh….we knew that, right!
We who do know the Savior must lead the fight for Israel, for all in the middle east in prayer. We are told to pray for the peace of Israel. There is more, much more. Jesus said, “If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.”
Just how did he do that? First He paid for our sins, then declared, “Forgive them Father, they know not what they do!” He set ‘forgiveness’ in motion, not as a ‘humanaterian’ act but as a law unto God, to be used in the world to bring love, joy and peace with mercy and grace to all mankind…..as many as follow Jesus can use this spiritual weapon of warfare. Love and forgiveness are so sonorous it is hard to tell the difference at times as both work miracles.
As long as we take sides (spiritually) and judge Humas, or any other terrorist group, we have grounded our prayers in judgment, and the loving affect is gone. In the physical world we must fight to preserve in what ever way is possible, hoping to use mercy and grace in doing so…..we can leave that to the world and those who are in charge and care for their own people (Presidents, Generals, Dictators, etc.).
But, we who want to win the eternal war will heed the words of Paul to the Romans, “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” Rom 16:20
In prayer we have the privilege to forgive (John 20:23), to rid ourselves of judgment (Matt 7:12) and demand the enemy loose the captives (Isaiah 61), declaring peace over them and the Spirit of Prophecy–Jesus (Revelation 19:10) be released over them, and they are blessed with all the gifts of the Holy Spirit–love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. (Gal 5:22).
It is mind-boggling to think we have this awesome power–however–we do! The power of the tongue is life or death, condemnation or liberation!
Years ago friends from Israel told us of many Jewish people who were actually getting a ‘visitation’ from Jesus calling them into faith. All things are possible with God!
We must Pray prayers that bring Life; pray for protection for all the people from the results of the on-going war; bind the spirits of death, violence and mayhem over both countries (Matt 16:18,19), and pray spiritual protection over ourselves that there will be no retaliation for our intercession! No matter what the country or nationality Jesus is the answer to world peace, prosperity and well being!

“I am the righteousness of God in Christ…” that is what it says in 2 Corinthians 5:21, in the New Testament of the Bible. Really? What does that mean to us and the world? For those of us who have accepted the invitation to receive Jesus into our heart, He is in us and we are in Him….well, that’s another mouth full that is just part of the ‘tention’ of knowing and understanding the Word of God and His relationship with us.
How we can be in Him (Who is alive and real) and He in us, is part of the walk of faith….we are not only physical but also spiritual….actually more spiritual as we will have spirit forever. (More on this in the recorded message on the Weekly Home Study page listed at the right–message #4.)
When Jesus left He said that He had been given all authority and power and He sent those who love and follow Him to share that good news with the world. That means Jesus is in us and we too can take dominion and have authority because of who we are!
The Bible also says by our words we shall be justified or condemned. Then why, oh Dear God, why are so many Christians talking and declaring how evil the world is, how bad things are in our country, how judgment is going to fall, and all the negative (evil) prophecy that condemns not only the world but us with it? To see conditions as they are is sensible, so we can pray, but to agree with the enemy, the devil and his demons, only gives power to them to work.
There is power in agreement….have you noticed how those who do not believe in our Jesus, are organized, strong and how some of these small groups have changed our nation? Because they have so much agreement and dedication to their ’cause’.
SOOOOO, as Christians we must declare, stand and fight in our hearts and minds for the goodness of God, the power of God to change the world, that light is greater than darkness, that when evil comes in like a flood God raises a standard, that Jesus forgave the world’s personal sins on the cross to open the door to dominion and authority over all the world, that Jesus and Paul tell us to forgive our enemies and bless them. We can’t declare evil and then expect good….that is double minded and we will receive nothing!
THERE ARE MORE THAN TEN RIGHTEOUS MEN AND WOMEN in America and we and the Holy Spirit have the power to forgive, bless and show the world the Grace and Love of God. One scripture tells us when we bless our enemies God will pour ‘hot coals on their head’….that is figurative for ‘revelation of Jesus’ will be put in their minds! Is there any news better than that?
And how about some humor and fun for 2009? Is there anyone who believes that is sacrilegious or irreverent? If they do they haven’t looked in the mirror lately to see the sense of humor God has–they haven’t received His love and joy that brings humor, fun and happiness into all things. I highly recommend praying on our knees, prostate on the floor, in abject love and adoration to and for Father, Son and Holy Spirit, declaring His desire for the world in no uncertain terms….no doubt, just blind obedient faith for the Best in all things! There is a need for that, however, we must also ask ourselves, “Who would want to join a bunch of ‘sour pusses’?”
2009 is in the hands of Believers and Followers of Jesus Christ, to set the stage, to declare the Love, Goodness, Integrity, Joy and Fellowship of our Jesus. To say NO, or bind the works of the enemy to kill, rob and destroy in every area–with great faith and determination. We do not wrestle with flesh and blood….this is covert operation….praying, declaring, defining and binding in private and going out in the world with a smile on our face (that’s what winners do), and love in our heart to love and change the world! In Jesus it can be a very….

During the Christmas Holiday Season is a great time
to remember all the good times….(not the bad ones)
but the good ones and thank God for them.
Also, a great time to remember that there is a lot of
evil in the world. Every day is a good day to TAKE
DOMINION in our lives and DECLARE that we belong to
Jesus and we say ‘no’ to the work of the devil in our
lives and those of others in the world.
Seems during the Holidays the devil works over time
to remind people of what they don’t have, how much
they need, how bad things are!
WE NEED TO REMEMBER ‘that when the enemy comes
like a flood (with evil hurtful thoughts) the
SPIRIT OF THE LORD will raise up a standard
against him. I believe that standard is our
prayer!
So whether things are good or bad in our lives, we
can be content by thanking God He is with us to see
us through our situation or out of it!
We are always victorious in the spirit when our mind
and thoughts are on Him no matter what our physical
condition may be!
I thank God for each and every one, and I pray that
the spirit within each of us will rejoice because of
our Jesus and sing “Joy to the world, the Lord is
come; Let earth receive her King!” Our King, Jesus!
Blessings in Him,
Carol

Well the atheists are having a ‘hey day’ with banners, billboards and such! All about how there is ‘no God’! WOW those people have a lot of faith. I don’t have enough faith not to believe in God and especially one who is real, alive, talks to me and gave His life for me. Not believing is like ‘declaring despair and hopeless on humanity.’
We are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. We are celebrating the birth of eternal life for mankind. We are celebrating because Jesus came and reversed the curse for all time, and offers opportunity to everyone who will accept Him in their heart….light, life and joy eternal.
Maybe He wasn’t born on December 25th….oh, well….let’s not get stuck in the letter of the law so to speak, but celebrate and rejoice that He was born, period!
We can reverse the curses in our life with faith, prayer and declaring His Kingship over the world and our problems. We can rejoice because we have salvation with Him forever and ever, regardless of our physical situation now! How cool is that!
We know we will see loved ones that are gone now, but waiting for us in eternity. We know that the Holy Spirit can and will bring us comfort and relief. We know there are Angels ready to work in our behalf in the spirit realm following our faith and declarations of trust in our Heavenly Loving Eternal Father, the Son Jesus who came to show us the heart of the Father, and the Holy Spirit, always hovering over believers to orchestrate the answer to prayer.
So we can forgive (with assurance that it does change things and people) those who offend or hurt us at Christmas. We can forgive in advance when we are going to spend time with family or friends who ‘march to a different drummer’; we can bless them and know the Holy Spirit will work in our behalf. We can declare our love Jesus and bless ourselves with all the goodness of God because it is ours!
And ‘hey’ let’s go all out and declare loud and clear that we are children of an Awesome Wonderful God; we are special and we love Him and who we are as part of all He is and the Kingdom of God on earth!
That’s it, reverse the curses in and around you with declarations of the opposite. We can reverse the curse because Jesus became a curse for us! No matter how ‘evil’ things look to some we can declare life, light and truth because of the birth, life and death of Jesus!
Rejoicing in Him, singing “Oh, come let us adore Him, Oh, come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!” will bring happiness and hope to all who receive! Reverse the curse, because you can!
